Top 10 iPhone Apps

* Dragon Dictation (free). Talk to the guy. Strictly speaking, in general excellent. After transcription appears, a touch slaps in the text message sent e-mail, text message, or Twitter to update Facebook. Or copy to the clipboard. Not as good as dictating directly into any box where you can write, as in Android phones. But much faster than writing with his finger.

* Ocarina ($ 1). People complain that their children become dependent on their gadgets. But on long rides, I am pleased that my son and daughter spent hours practicing this wind instrument in good faith. Blow into the mic, learn strumming of the four "holes" in the LCD screen ... a beautiful song.

* Google Mobile (free). Speaking to search Google maps. Now Google Goggle built in: Point your camera phone into a book, DVD, a bottle of wine, so within the painting, or piece of text, and smart friend app that recognizes and displays information about it on the web.
Bonus tip: Google Voice. Hot off the presses! This application finally appeared in the App Store after a year and a half in limbo, like Apple mysteriously refused to approve it. But here is sweet, offering free text messages, cheap international calls, free transcriptions of their voicemails, and a host of other useful features.

* LED Light (free). The "flash" LED 4 to the iPhone is incredibly powerful, you can practically turn on a track with him. It's great for reading menus and concert programs in the shadows, to inspect the plumbing and car parts in tight spaces, and removing shrapnel. Unfortunately, turning it involves opening the camera application, a switch to connect the video and video light. Right? Not anymore. You can open the program to instantly activate the LED - bright and fast.

* FlightTrack Pro ($ 10). Incredible. Shows all details for each flight: the port, the delay time, phone number, airline, where flight is on the map, and more. Learn more - and know that sooner - than the actual airlines. Better yet, the Pro version with auto-sync Tripit.com. Book a flight online, forward your receipt for plans@tripit.com TripIt and puts the data into the flight FlightTrack Pro automatically and wirelessly. There is no input at all.

* FakeCalls. When you tap the icon on your startup screen (labeled only is covert and FC) in about ten seconds, the phone rings. It's called a fake - no matter what you previously selected. (I have mine set to Obama, but that's just me.)
The simulation of the iPhone screen is perfect traditional call - the dial tone, contact information, mute and hold buttons, the works. Ideal to extricate itself from difficult situations, such as dates of meetings or bad.

* Line 2 (free). Give your iPhone a second phone line with its own number - who make or receive calls via Wi-Fi when you're in a hot spot, or on AT & T when it is not (not AT & T minutes!). Unlimited texting, unlimited calling, $ 10 per month.

* Twitter (free). Most programs are free Twitter a bit on the confusing side. This is the official program of Twitter, Inc., and is simple and clean.

* SoundHound (free). Shazam Beats at their own game. Hold this app for a song that's playing on the radio, or even hum or sing the song, and the miraculous app identifies music and offers you the lyrics. Shazam is faster too.

* Bump (free). If you and another owner of the iPhone both have this application, simply tap their phones together to exchange business cards. Unfortunately, it became much more complex because it is mature, in that a friend and I could barely figure out how to store the received "card." But though there are many similar applications, this is the one most people are more likely, for now, bouncing extra convenient.

What else is on my iPhone? Red laser. Glee. Kayak. FlightBoard. OnTime. The New York Times, of course. Skype. Kindle, B & N eReader. Dictionary. Facebook. WeDoodle. TEDPlayer. Mint.com. FingerFoos. Scrabble. Remote (for Keynote). SpawnHD. Foursquare Gospel. Pandora. MobileMe applications (FindiPhone, iDisk, Gallery). Yelp. Flickr. And about 65,000 small fun games and applications deposited by my children on trips by car.
